Meet me at this FREE Event – March 12 & 13, 2022
Whew! What a flurry of activity! It’s getting exciting! The Tucson Festival of Books on the campus of the Univ. of Arizona is one of the largest book fairs in the U.S. People come from all over the state and from across the country! 150,000 people sometimes!
Decisions to make!
If you’re going, how will you get there? Drive, fly, ride your bicycle?
I waffled back and forth on this one. Got the 120,000 mile service done on my car, tires rotated and a bill of good health for the journey, then decided on flying and reserved an airline ticket, rent car, etc. But now I’m back to driving. Pluses and minuses with either option. But I think I’m sticking with taking my car. Just so long as I get there! Have to be there – with my book!!
Work to do!
I’ve ordered plenty of bookmarks for you. And—let’s see—need a stand to display the big poster, bags to protect the books, informational signs, easels to display those, a tote personalized with my book cover. AND more books! I’d also better be prepared with a fan, sunscreen and bottled water.
Oh yes, I ordered a new mask! It’s really pretty! I think you’ll like it. The Festival will observe the University of Arizona COVID protocols. So keep checking on TFOB.org for up to the minute guidance.
What’s the Big Deal about #TFOB?
