It’s been seven years since I started writing about my life in West Africa where my late husband was working to eradicate smallpox. Now the book is a reality—part memoir, part history—and I’m about to send it out into the world. I’m excited to have joined two other local authors in this radio appearance, a great way to introduce Vaccines & Bayonets to the public.
